Dear Gianna, We just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed staying at the San Lorenzo Apts. (We stayed in Alberti one night and Lepri the rest of our stay.) They were both great apartments and in a wonderful location. We loved the view of the Duomo from Lepri. Other reviews have mentioned ""the steps."" They were no problem because we packed light. In fact, we welcomed them after a day of eating bread, cheese, wine and gelato! Grazie mille! S. Rose, Nashville, TN, USA Also, the cleaner/maintenance man really helped us out alot - I think his name was Aldi - so please thank him for us.

Dear Gianna, I must thank you and Gabriella for making our stay in Florence such a real pleasure. Your apartment Alberti was wonderful. We were not in need of anything while there and Gabriella was a fantastic help while we were in Florence especially when we were departing and I needed some help with our luggage and a taxi, as I had injured my knee. We would have no hesitation in recommending your apartment to our friends. Barbaraís only regret was that she did not buy enough scarfs in the market; she is not impressed by the prices for the same things in Venice or even worse here in Paris. Please pass on to Gabriella our sincere thanks and appreciation. With very best regards, Robin Cranston Victoria, Australia

Naomi Lang -
Dear Gianna, Thank-you so much for letting us the Lepri and Alberti apartments. We really appreciated your trust regarding the lack of deposit. We had an amazing time and it was fantastic coming back to such a central location that was so peaceful, clean and homely. The view out of our apartment (lepri) towards the duomo was breathtaking and such a sun trap. We had our espresso and cantucci every morning listening to the bells and enjoying the view. I am so sorry about the glass lampshade that got Once again thank-you so much. We all had an amazing time. Look forward to staying there again. Warm Regards Naomi

Carol Johnstone -
Hello Gianna Our stay was wonderful at the Alberti apartment! It is such a quiet comfortable place to stay while exploring the city and surrounding countryside. Our friends who joined us and my other friends (Julie Barringer and family) loved the location and having a home away from home! And we had a chance to see some of the other apartments, and I would love to stay with more friends at one of the bigger ones -- we are already trying to convince people :-) In the meantime, we are leading a tour next spring, Best of Italy, and will be passing through Florence, and feel we know it even better now!! Thanks to you and your staff (friends) for your help and friendly welcome to your amazing city! Carol Johnstone Jim Coffin

Martine, Philip, Jason and Zoe Hebblethwaite -
Ciao Gianna, Grazie mille for a fantastic week in Firenze. The appartment ALBERTI was lovely: cool, quiet and so close to all the sights. Thank you so much. We would love to return of course, we will just see what happens. Thank you so much to Gabriella for arranging with our neighbour to book the taxi. It made such a big diiference to us as we had a long journey to the coast beyond Salerno and the early start made it so much easier. Florence is a truely beautiful city. Grazie mille. Hi Gianna We have just returned from Europe and I wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the use of you wonderful ALBERTI apartment. Gabriella was great and very helpful. We had a great time in Florence, unfortunately we would have liked more time (especially for shopping - we didn't realise all the sales would be on.) Florence has a great atmosphere quite youthful when compared with Venice, it feels more like a university town. Sorry we didn't get to meet but there's always next time. Best wishes to you and your family. Grant Pomeroy Devonport

"Dear Gianna, We are finally home, Iím writing to thank you for enquiring at the hospital about Billís illness and passing on your advice through Gabriella. It was greatly appreciated and certainly made our problems less. Although the hospital is very different to any here as far as facilities for patients, etc., we both felt very happy and satisfied with the care that he received. Also, would you please convey to Gabriella once more our gratitude for all that she did for us. We could never have managed without her help. We send our love to her and many, many grazies and bacis. (Hope these interpretations are correct.) We do plan to return to Florence, particularly as Bill saw only Ponte Vecchio on our last day, and when we do we certainly hope to stay in one of your apartments again. Please accept our very best wishes for you and Gabriella. You might ask her to email me if she has a computer, but I think I did ask her and she said she hasnít. Ciao and our warmest regards"

Rachel -
Ciao Gianna, I want to thank you for letting us rent your Alberti apartment 7-13 June 2005. It was a perfect apartment, so cosy and comfortable with striking and intimate views of San Lorenzo and the Duomo. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Florence and the Alberti was the ideal place to return each day after walking and admiring the art in Florence. I hope we revisit Florence and if we do we will definitely contact you. Also, Gabriella could not have been more gracious so please thank her for us. Ciao Rachel
