We stayed in the Zini Apartment for four nights in September. We loved the place, so much room, very well equipped. The only problems we had were with the TV. The owner took it out and replaced it the next day with a brand new flat screen. We did make the mistake of leaving a window open the first night and discovered that Florence has mosquitos! Forced to use the airconditioning after that experience. WiFi was very good and much appreciated. The apartment has a washer, a luxury for travelers who have been on the road for awhile. Very easy walk to main parts of town and all-in-all a wonderful experience in a great apartment.

We had a very lovely and peaceful stay that was much too brief. Gianna helped us in every way she possibly could, as did all her kind helpers. I am very grateful and hope that our comments will be added, so that people can know this is a good place to stay in Florence. On the first floor, it is a great choice for people with slight disabilities (like my bad back) or with a child. Cool and peaceful after a day of sightseeing, I found it a real home away from home. Thank you to all who help keep Zini apartment going, and especially to Gianna. I appreciate the concessions made to our problems! We saw all the sights possible in a few days and had a lovely place to come back to and make dinner or doze... Thanks again, Isabella

Gianna and Gabriela, My family and I wanted to express how much we enjoyed staying at the San Lorenzo Apartments (Galeota) in Florence. It was just beautiful, we were surprised by how large it was, this felt more like a home, rather than an apartment/vacation rental. We fell in love with the ambiance and the location was superb! The shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions all so close, we could not have been happier! We were a family of 7 ranging from 16 to 79 years of age and we all enjoyed this vacation home very much! We enjoyed wrapping up the day on the roof patio with a bottle of wine and manchego cheese! Gianna, you were very helpful through the booking process and providing all the necessary information to get us there directly without hassles. Gabriela, you were so hospitable (and a great sense of humor) and took great care of us upon arrival. All your helpful hints and recommendations to the best restaurants were great! We also appreciate that you returned the next day within minutes of our call when we couldn’t figure out how to use the washing machine, what great service! We would definitely recommend this vacation home to our family and friends, and would will be back someday ourselves to stay with you again! Thank you both for everything! Diana (California resident traveled in July 2011)

Dear Gianna, A very belated thank you for a lovely holiday in your very latest apartment. It was all very comfortable and quite spacious. Gabriella was very helpful during our stay - please say thank you to her and her friend for letting us use their bathroom once!!! We really did have a lovely holiday. It is always wonderful staying in the heart of the city. We managed to go to San Gimignano and Fiesole but mostly we just stayed around the city. No matter how many times I visit, there is always something else to discover. I hope one day to actually find the Vasari Corridor ope n. Thank you once again. It was very nice to meet you, and for letting me change my mind at the last minute about coming. Ciao.

Ciao Gianna! We had a truly wonderful time in Firenze - and your appartment was brilliant - I am telling all my friends about your appartments! It was so quiet - all we heard was song of birds and sometimes church bells - and warm, and comfortable, and Gabriella was very nice. Thank you so much for giving us the bigger appartment - it really was a wonderful trip, especially for my friend who had so recently lost her husband. We all want to come again together! Spring is coming to Malton, very windy today but beautiful, warm wishes to you and big thanks, Ciao.

Good Morning Gianna, We are safely home in Portland, Oregon now after a delay in Frankfort and lost bags, but glad to be back. We loved our stay in Florence and the apartment worked out well. It was located wonderfully and we had all that we needed. Thanks again.

Yes, we indeed had a very nice time there. The apartments are really comfortable and in walking distance to the major sights. So we managed to go around the town and visit some places. I hope we will be able to visit there again. Thanks once again.

Family Marks -
Gianna, Just a brief note to let you know how much our family enjoyed our flat and stay in Florence. Zini provided us with comfort, convenience and safety during our stay. While my wife and son went out to explore Florence shortly after we arrived, I remember taking a wonderful nap with the shutters pulled closed and waking up totally refreshed afterwards. We also appreciate the time and thoughtful attention you provided to our many questions during our arrival. There was much to see and experience in Florence. Additionally, our trip to the Central Market, bus ride to Fiesole for lunch and Sienna for the Palio were all fun experiences for us and we enjoyed them equally with touring Florence. In any event, we wanted you to know that we enjoyed ourselves. Cheers, Family Marks

Linda MacKenzie and Michael Conlon -
Dear Gianna, My husband and I appreciated very much our stay at the ZINI apartment in June. We arrived after a week of crazy driving around Puglia and without our luggage. You cannot believe how relieved we were to meet Gabriella at that point, who was waiting for us as we arrived by taxi. She was so friendly and expert in all that we needed to know about the apartment, getting taxis, etc. She was an angel! The apartment was so clean and well-equipped and the location very convenient. We wish we could have stayed longer as we came just for a few days to attend a wedding - but surely we shall contact you again on our next trip to beautiful Firenze. Sincerely, Linda MacKenzie and Michael Conlon (June, 2008)

Dear Gianna Thank you so much for the wonderful apartment to rent in Florence, the ZINI apt. My daughters & I enjoyed your city so much...it was not enough time, and hopefully we will be back soon. Gabriella was wonderful to meet us on Sunday evening. I tried to phone her as we were leaving, but had no luck getting phones to work. I trust that the apartment was left ok. We are in Rome - a crazy wonderful city...I am happy that we started our trip in your beautiful city and apartment. Thank you so much! Lynne Lindell, Waverly Iowa, USA
